The Traditional Greek Tzatziki is cool, velvety with an intense taste that charms all those who try it. I serve it with bread, pie or nut but it goes perfectly with grilled lamb, chicken, pork, souvlaki and simple meals such as an omelette.

  1. Peel the cucumber and peel it with a grater.
You can use the cucumber unpeeled, wash then thoroughly.

  2. Salt the grated cucumber, mix and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
Squeeze the grated cucumber to get liquid out.

  3. Grate the garlics and add to the yoghurt. Also add the juice of the half lemon.

  4. Taste, and if need, add salt to taste.
    Add the olive oil.
Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.

  5. Chop the dill, add to the mixture and mix well.

    Enjoy! Good Appetite!
