Duck meat is extremely supple and delicate, whether it comes from a wild duck or a conventional duck from any farm or shop that you have access to. It is very simple to burn it, cook it for an excessively long or short period of time, and end up with dry or chewy food.
Set the oven’s temperature to 177°C (350°F).
Prepare the roast duck
Wash, dry off, and salt the duck. To make a paste, combine the olive oil, spices, and lemon juice.
Rub the paste all over the duck. Put the remainder of the squeezed lemon inside the cavity of the duck.
Put the duck and 125 ml (½ cup) water in a roasting pan.
The duck should be cooked for around 120 minutes, basting it every 30 minutes. When the duck’s fluids flow clear and it’s golden brown, it’s finished.
Take out of the oven, then allow cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Slice, then serve right away.
For two days, keep in a glass dish in the fridge.
Enjoy, Good Appetite!
